At least the war got me into blogging....

It seems that real information (not the distorted US press machine) can be found in many places on the net. My interest in blogging has surfaced here largely because of my following of a family in Baghdad posting their diaries in blog form on the net. Their words are a reminder of two very basic facts: 1) The humans that are subjected to US occupation are just that-subjects of King Geroge II and must be liberated by exposing the truth about their circumstances. 2) The truth shows itself first to those who look with their hearts and last to those with their heads (in the sand or up in the clouds) but always the truth reveils itself.

You have to look beyond the government propaganda and manufactured concent that the powerful impose on their subjects. You must also constantly filter the messages through the lens of corporate oligarcy the exists today. This is not for the squimish as many popularly heald myths must be smashed and for the average person, dissention amounts to treason. Let us not forget that questioning our government's actions and motivations is our obligation as citizens in this democratic republic. But look out-the US and allied would governments play for keeps for our hearts and minds. They usually get the upper hand as well, but they won't control the masses forever. For now, corporations concentrate and exercise the power, governments control the funding and the message. Its a revolving door for the few at the top that will one day be shut.
My blog will endevour to promote alternative sourses and viewpoints regarding world affairs. Hopefully someone will benefit. I do believe strongly in the wisdom of committed individuals affecting change-this is one way to move things forward, if only in my life.
